For those who attended RC Show 2024, you’ll remember the energy that ensued on our show floor from the unrivalled international event: The Bocuse d’Or Team Canada National Selection. For our 80th anniversary, Bocuse is back and better than ever. What hasn’t changed? The stakes! And they are high: A chance to take the helm of the Bocuse d’Or and World Pastry Cup Team Canada 2027!

What started in 1987, by Jamie Kennedy, has flourished into an event that you don’t want to miss! The Bocuse d’Or competition is far more than just that; it’s a laboratory of excellence and an incubator of talent, where commitment, passion, technique and creativity converge to shape the greatest chefs of tomorrow and beyond.

An important question that is often asked of competition of this stature – What value do culinary competitions bring to the foodservice industry? The answer is – Personal growth and technique for the rising chefs in our industry, and as if that wasn’t enough – these competitions play a vital role in positively impacting our economy and tourism.
