Abbie is a food media professional with a passion for good food and the stories that connect us to it. From a young age, she was in the kitchen with her mom, learning how to make her favorite meals and recording herself on an old-school camcorder. This early love for food led her to pursue a degree in nutrition from the University of Guelph, followed by a certificate in food media from Centennial College. Her hands-on experience in the restaurant industry allowed her to gain insight into the fast-paced nature and intricacies of food service. Abbie specializes in social media management, food styling, photography, and videography. She works at Back of House, where she coordinates digital content creation to help brands authentically connect with their audiences. Abbie also collaborates with creators like Matthew James Duffy, managing social channels and integrating strategic brand partnerships. Outside of her work with clients, Abbie runs her own social channel @heartbeetshealthy, where she shares her love for food, celebrates the joy of cooking, and explores new food trends. Her work is driven by the belief that food should be celebrated, not restricted, and she strives to inspire others to enjoy food, whether at home or abroad.
