Amber Bruce, Bar Manager of the Keefer Bar in Vancouver’s Chinatown, has over 10 years of experience behind bars designing unique cocktails. She has worked alongside some of Vancouver’s best bartenders, and has traveled around the world, visiting distilleries, and hosting guest-shifts and pop-up bars. She has collected a number of awards and accolades, including Vancouver Magazine’s bartender of the year 2019, Speed Rack National Finalist 2019, Best Bartender by the Georgia Straight 2018, Giffard Iron Mixologist 2017, World Class National Finalist 2016 & 2017, winner of the Absolut Bartending Competition. In addition to working behind the bar, Amber has volunteered on the board as the Vice President for the Canadian Professional Bartenders Association, helping grow and connect the community of bartenders in British Columbia. She has also traveled to volunteer at various cocktail conferences across the nation including, Toronto Cocktail Conference and San Antonio Cocktail Conference.
