Corrin Bulmer

Labour Market Information Specialist, WCG Services

Corrin Bulmer is a policy professional and data analyst. She works at WCG as their Labour Market Information Specialist for all their employment service contracts in Canada. She has been doing this work for seven years. Over this period, Corrin has worked to refine her approach to doing labour market analysis. Her specialty is telling stories with data that emphasizes context and centers people’s lived experiences.

Corrin has a Masters of Public Policy and Global Affairs from the University of British Columbia. During the completion of her post-secondary degree she was exposed for the first time to the vital importance of translating peoples experiences into quantitative data and then into narratives meant to convince policy makers to take action. This process of translation and re-translation is at the center of doing ‘evidence based decision making’ and it is where she has decided to spend her time.

Corrin is a Vancouverite who enjoys being outside in the trees, drinking tea, and looking at maps.
