Cristina is currently the Traffic Anchor and Segment Host of CTV Morning Live . She is also the founder of Canada’s newest authority in lifestyle, Evolve Media Group. A digital platform with a rapidly growing audience in Canada, EMG’s main digital platform, evolvemagazine.ca is designed to provide free resources from top experts in the lifestyle space to help Canadians live their best life. Evolve Media aims to promote inclusion and diversity as well as highlight Canadians and organizations making an impact. Prior to her roles, she was the editor in chief of a luxury lifestyle publication, MarQuee Magazine. A broadcast-journalism graduate, she has worked at many leading broadcast networks in Canada and has contributed many food and beverage articles to several national and international platforms and publications. In 2019, she was also one of the judges for Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants. Cristina was a columnist for leading industry publication, Food and Beverage Magazine where she had her own column, “Carpio’s Corner” and known to host some of Toronto's most notable food and beverage events like the RC Show. She has appeared at leading TV programs in Canada as a food and lifestyle expert and brings a wealth of experience in brand strategy, content creation with over a decade of experience in public relations and marketing.

Cristina spent over a decade in the restaurant and hospitality industry. She opened and operated upscale restaurants in the Greater Toronto Area where she got a chance to work with many vendors and leading brands in food and beverage. She’s provided many opportunities to restaurant professionals and has worked with award-winning chefs over they years. She was awarded Top 40 Under 40 for business achievement by Business Media Link Group, Hero of Business Award from the Canadian Multicultural Council-Asians in Ontario, Service Award from the Universal Peace Federation and other recognitions. This year, she was also honoured to be a part of the Top 50 Canadian Immigrant Awards. Cristina is an active member of the Asian community in Canada and has worked with many not-for-profit groups and underrepresented communities for almost two decades.
