Frank Hennessey
CEO, Recipe Unlimited Corporation
Frank is Chief Executive Officer of Recipe Unlimited Corporation. Building on a 140 year legacy, Frank has responsibility for over 50,000 teammates and 700 franchisees across 20 brands, that stretch from Vancouver Island to St John's NFLD. Frank is an industry veteran, having spent more than 35 years working in both the United States and Canada for private equity, publicly traded and family-run businesses. He has experience in restaurant operations, procurement, food manufacturing and grocery retail.
Prior to Recipe, Frank and his team were responsible for the successful turn-around of two companies; the first being Bento Sushi where he joined as CEO in 2010 and sold in 2014 and the second as CEO of the publicly traded multi-branded Imvescor Restaurant group, which he joined in 2014 and was later sold in 2018. Frank began his career with Darden Restaurants (formerly General Mills) and after 11 years joined Cara Operations (now Recipe) in 1998, where he worked in various roles including procurement and brand leadership.
Frank holds an undergraduate degree from Western University and a Master of Business Administration from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
