Chef Hassi Sadri, the founder of the acclaimed Café Napoli, earned national recognition when the restaurant was featured on the cover of Pizza Today Magazine in 1993 as one of the "Top Pizzas in the Nation." It was also named one of the "Top 100 Unique Restaurants in the Nation." Over the decades, Café Napoli garnered numerous accolades, including being named the "Best Restaurant in the Sacramento Area." The restaurant quickly became Sacramento’s premier hotspot, known not only for its mouth-watering gourmet dishes but also for its top-tier event catering services, which have served everyone from the Governor’s office to exclusive local weddings and corporate clients.

In 1997, Chef Hassi’s passion for teaching led him to establish the Napoli Culinary Academy. The Academy has become a highly successful institution, gaining recognition both nationally and internationally for its exceptional culinary education. Under Chef Hassi's leadership, the Academy has earned a stellar reputation for producing top-tier culinary professionals. Its unique blend of hands-on training, comprehensive coursework, and real-world internships has attracted students from across the globe, establishing it as a premier destination for aspiring chefs and hospitality leaders. The Academy’s impact extends far beyond Sacramento, with graduates excelling in kitchens and the hospitality industry worldwide, further solidifying its status as an internationally respected center of culinary and hospitality excellence.

Chef Hassi’s extensive national and international background spans culinary arts, food and beverage, and hotel management. Having lived in multiple countries and traveled globally, he is fluent in several languages and deeply immersed in diverse food cultures. His career includes roles such as Director of Food & Beverage at a premier hotel/casino in Reno, General Manager of a Las Vegas hotel, and restaurant consulting in London. He also pioneered industrial kitchen design in Austria.

A nationally recognized chef and industry leader, Chef Hassi earned the title of "International Culinary Judge" and has served as Head Judge at the Annual International Pizza Expo in Las Vegas, the Pizza and Pasta Expo in Atlantic City, and The Canadian Pizza Summit in Vancouver. His influence extends beyond the kitchen, with regular features on local Sacramento news and the Travel Channel.
