Simone Cellario grew up on a family farm, Poderi Cellario, that produces natural wines in the Langhe hills, in northern Italy. As the first son of Fausto and Cinzia Cellario, a third generation of winemakers who have been among the first to implement biodynamic practices in this region, Simone has been immersed in the natural wine world since they were born. The passion they have for this philosophy of winemaking has been passed down by their parents and this has given them the chance to learn more and more about it. Simone is currently living in Toronto attending university and works very closely with their family business through the promotion of their wines in the Canadian and American markets. They never miss a chance to connect with the local natural wine community through the many educational events they organize around the city.
