Trevane ‘Tre’ Sanderson is the first Black Chef to win Top Chef Canada on its latest Season X. He has been passionately cooking in the Toronto Culinary scene for over 10 years and has worked in some of the city’s hottest kitchens and hotels, including Baro, Vela & Hotel X. Being a first-generation Canadian with Caribbean roots, Tre draws inspiration from his Jamaican heritage & enjoys implementing different cooking styles into each of his dishes. Known for his creativity & plating mastery, Tre is constantly pushing the envelope when it comes to his flavours & techniques, and strives to bring Caribbean Cuisine to Michelin-Level Dining.
